Besides qualified and motivated teachers we need also acceptable learning material and school equipment such as books, or even simple equipment like writing pads, notebooks or pens. These are only some examples, but below you see our most urgent necessities.
•Lack of volunteers.
•Lack of funds for building our own school on our own land.
•Lack of books and materials for study.
•Lack of modern tools, especially computers.
•Lack of funds for teacher salaries.
•Lack of budget to maintain the project.
As already mentioned above, we urgently need computers. At the moment there are eight computers in our lab, but this hardly sufficient for 32 students and we want to teach 150 students at least. Simple computers, where basic applications can be learned on or even a small donation would be enormously helpful for us.
What your donation can achieve:
•$1 provides a student with a folder to store their worksheets
•$2 provides a student with a tooth brush and tooth paste set
•$6 provides a student with folders, books and pencils for their English classes
•$20 provides a student with 6 months of English lessons
•$50 provides a student with 1 year of English lessons and all required tests, mid-terms and finals
•$90 pays for one student to participate in all four KNGO programs for one year
•$800 will purchase 2 desktop computers for the computer skills classes
All donations will make such a big difference to KNGO, ensuring we can still provide free education to our 250 English, Health and Environmental students and 32 computer students.
